Now, our panel urges the media to interrupt his river of falsehoods with sharp questions and real-time fact-checking. They doubt that a GOP still in the grip of birthers, xenophobes and climate deniers — and now stocked with Trump and Cruz delegates and members — will likely shift after a 5-10 point loss this Fall. Last, there’s again consensus that Sanders, a sincere liberal, would continue to bite Clinton’s ankle after she becomes the presumptive nominee June 7th…but that’s based on reason and not passion.
