Spitzer & Matalin concur that the $85 billion in spending cuts will have a relatively modest impact and that all the leaders should be sequestered at Camp David until they agree on a balanced deal — like a fiscal Conclave of Cardinals. They differ on whether Ted Cruz is the next Reagan or McCarthy and on whether Bob Woodward’s complaints about WH press bullying show him to be courageous or whiny. Last, Justice Scalia’s comment on the Voting Rights Act becoming a “racial entitlement” raises hackles, applause.
